Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection

During the summer in the states, I ventured to the UAE to Dubai to the Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection. This spectacular hotel is located near shopping at the Dubai Marina Mall and The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR).

The resort has a private beach, 399 rooms, and 47 suites. It’s a nice size. A few of my favorite oceanfront suites were the Ambassador, Presidential Suite, 3-bedroom Royal Suite, and the 3-bedroom Chairman suite. The resort is family-oriented with a kids’ club, 3 pools, water activities, 14 dining options and several boutique stores on property.

The Royal Suite is located on the 24th floor of the Habtoor Grand and offers views of the Arabian Gulf and Jumeirah Beach from the living area, which has floor to ceiling windows, I might add! The suite also has a private terrace where you can enjoy breakfast or happy hour while watching the beautiful view.

The only problem with sitting out on the terrace in Dubai is that it’s incredibly hot! I live in Texas so you know it’s hot from my standpoint. It’s a desert climate with temperatures averaging 86 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer season.

When you first arrive, they greet you with delicious fresh dates and tea. We liked those so much that we brought some home. The hotel has 14 dining options. For example, Al Basha serves Lebanese and other Middle Eastern specialties; Grand Grill Restaurant is a steakhouse inspired by classic South African steakhouses; Andreeas has a variety of cuisines and is described as a global culinary adventure. On top of all those places, they have brunch service — one in their garden every Friday until the end of April and another brunch at the Italian restaurant Luciano’s every Saturday until the end of April.

If you’re looking for an entirely different holiday experience, you’ll need to experience Habtoor Grand in Dubai.
